Rainbows and Waterfalls

Its been a long and stressful week. I am lucky enough to live just a drive away from the Gorgeous Niagara Falls.

I HEART NEW YORK

New York is by far one of my favourite cities in the entire world. It has changed my life in words that I can't even describe. A few weeks ago I got to take the boy I love, to the City I love... this is what happened.. in Photos.

Ye Old Carlton Arms Hotel

Back a few weeks ago I took the Boy to New York City for a few days just to get away from life. I had chosen to stay at the Carlton Arms hotel located near Madison Square Park in Manhattan. This is a place I have wanted to stay at forever, each room painted a different way, This place is not a place for people who expect a ususal hotel experience.

We arrived after a very long bus ride, at around 10am. Upon enterting, and lugging my suitcase up the stairs to the first floor. We were quicky given a key to a room on the first floor. Two double beds, Own bathroom and a Unicorn painted on the walls greeted us.

I freaken LOVED this place. 

It's 5 floors of what used to be an apartment building up until the 80s. Every wall in the entire place is painted in a different way, your eyes are going crazy trying to see everything. We ended up taking a walk though the whole building looking at all the different artwork.

This Hotel also has a pet cat, which for me, someone who is in love with Animals, loved. I actually ended up searching the whole hotel just to find the Kitty!

This place is basic, but its got character. The room was pretty big compared to other hotels in New York City I have stayed at, and it was clean and the bed was comfy.

I have fallen inlove with this place and I can't wait to go back to NYC so I can stay here and stay in a different room with different art.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland...

SO, it snowed.

If you know me, you know that i HATE the winter.. but this past Wednesday when the storm passed through.. I put on my boots and treked outside and took some pictures. As much as I hate winter (yes I am aware that I am Canadian), nothing is more beautiful then a fresh snowfalll

Random Adventure #9546

Yesterday was a beautiful winter day and Mike and I decided to do what we do best.. Go on an Adventure!

Hamilton is known for being full of concrete and grossness.. but we are also known for our beautiful Waterfalls..
Scattered throughout the city and surrounding areas are some pretty stunning waterfalls.. so we picked an area and off we went. We ended up going to Tews Falls and Websters Falls. With the snow and the ice.. they looked beyond beautiful..

mmm BURGERS!

My boyfriend is a total foodie.. he is always trying to find the best of everything, and takes his food very seriously.. I always let him pick the place we are gonna eat... and this place was fantastic.

Located at Queen East and Coxwell in the Beaches, THE BURGERS PRIEST  "redeeming one burger at a time" is a MUST VISIT for all you burger fans out here

Made with FRESH Ground Beef made on a Flat Top Griddle and seriously amazing French Fries
